A focus on the happy child was the insight for this playful brand for the new Ontario government agency, the Commission to Promote Sustainable Child Welfare. Acting as a change agent among child welfare agencies in the province, the commission’s mandate is to bring into alignment standards of care across all providers, while respecting the cultural needs of the various groups involved. The client wished to convey a spirit of boldness and vibrancy with an approach of openness, transparency and respect. The dancing child figure, skipping through varying environments represents the desired end result of their work and suggests an equally optimistic attitude as an attribute of the commission itself.
